Amy Grosso
Dr. Amy Grosso serves as the Board Chair for the Central Texas Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. She completed her Ph.D. in Counseling and Counselor Education at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She also serves as the Director of Behavioral Health Services at Round Rock ISD where she oversees a team of social workers and campus-based mental health centers. In addition, Dr. Grosso is part of the formation of a new district police department aimed at reforming school policing by focusing on safety and security, behavioral health, equity, and student advocacy. She is the co-author of the book, Schoolwide Collaboration for Transformative Social Emotional Learning.
Ariana Marks
Ariana Marks is a Student Safety Specialist at Lightspeed Systems. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Mental Health from Concordia University. Ariana is part of Lightspeed’s global team of Safety Specialists that are in-house, on premise, fully vetted, and highly trained to ensure the safety of students and staff. She is trained in suicide prevention through the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), and CSAM trained through Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS).
