Dr. Christopher Harrington has long served on the forefront of innovative education as an expert in K-12 education technology and virtual and blended learning environments. He specializes in assembling and inspiring great work from great teams. Dr. Christopher Harrington currently serves as Founder of the Institute for Teaching and Leading, Director of Michigan Virtual Learning Research Institute, and Chief Executive Officer of Harrington Education Associates. He has served as an adjunct professor at Immaculata University, President of eLearn Institute, Inc., and has served in the Pennsylvania public school system as a teacher, an administrator, and a consultant for 29 years.
Elizabeth LeBlanc is the Co-founder and CEO of the Institute for Teaching and Leading. She has over 15 years of experience in the design and implementation of high-quality blended learning programs. Elizabeth has a Master’s in Educational Technology and Curriculum Design. In addition to consulting with area schools to improve technology practices and instruction, she volunteers with Little Ripples as an Expert Teacher Adviser, helping cultivate refugee-led PreK education in eastern Chad.
Miss Lauren Speiser is a Kindergarten teacher from the East Coast. Lauren has a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology and another Master’s in Advanced Teaching Practices with a Specialization in National Board Leadership. This past year, Lauren earned her National Board as an Early Childhood Generalist (ages 3-8). In the evenings, she is an Adjunct at a local University teaching undergraduate students about the appropriate implementation of technology in their classrooms. In the fall, she will be beginning her Doctor of Education degree focusing on designing developmentally appropriate digital activities for Kindergarteners.
Nicole Allien is an instructional technologist with Caddo Parish Public Schools. Nicole has a Master’s in Educational Technology Leadership and has been in education for 20 years. She has been in the role of instructional technologist for the past 3 years and has been instrumental in the implementation and teacher training of many district technology initiatives.
